The classic run, and since the direct NAIA flights ended in March 2025, so it takes a combination. Three ways, from cheapest to fastest:
🚌 Option 1, Direct bus (one seat, zero transfers)
₱950 economy · ~₱1,455 aircon · ₱2,200 to 2,450 sleeper- Bicol Isarog from Zurbito St. (pier site), departures 09:30 · 10:00 · 11:05 · 11:30
- The bus rides the RORO ferry to Pilar, then drives through Bicol overnight
- Arrive Cubao ~06:30 to 08:30 next morning
⏱ ~21h💡 Sleeper class is worth it. Book ahead around holidays and Rodeo week.
⛴️ Option 2, Ferry + your own bus (cheapest, more flexible)
~₱1,000 to 1,500 total- Montenegro fastcraft Masbate City → Pilar (~2h, ₱720): morning departures
- Van or bus Pilar → Legazpi/Daraga, or straight to a Manila-bound bus in Sorsogon
- Any Bicol → Manila bus (~10 to 12h)
⏱ ~16 to 18h
✈️ Option 3, Fly via Clark (fastest)
from ~₱3,200 total- Cebgo Masbate → Clark, Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun dep 07:20 (~1h35)
- P2P/Genesis bus Clark → Manila (~2 to 3h)
