The classic run — and since the direct NAIA flights ended in March 2025, it takes a combination. Three ways, from cheapest to fastest:
🚌 Option 1 — Direct bus (one seat, zero transfers)

- The bus rides the RORO ferry to Pilar, then drives through Bicol overnight
- Arrive Cubao ~06:30–08:30 next morning
⏱ ~21h💡 Sleeper class is worth it. Book ahead around holidays and Rodeo week.
⛴️ Option 2 — Ferry + your own bus (cheapest, more flexible)
~₱1,000–1,500 total- Montenegro fastcraft Masbate City → Pilar (~2h, ₱720) — morning departures
- Van or bus Pilar → Legazpi/Daraga, or straight to a Manila-bound bus in Sorsogon
- Any Bicol → Manila bus (~10–12h)
⏱ ~16–18h
✈️ Option 3 — Fly via Clark (fastest)
from ~₱3,200 total- Cebgo Masbate → Clark, Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun dep 07:20 (~1h35)
- P2P/Genesis bus Clark → Manila (~2–3h)
