Discover Masbate ("we", "discovermasbate.com") is a classifieds and travel-guide website for Masbate Province, Philippines. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data — when you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, the name and email shared by that provider.
• Listing data — the content of ads you post (title, description, photos, price, location, contact details you choose to display).
• Technical data — basic logs (IP address, browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security purposes.

How we use it

• To operate your account and display your listings.
• To send transactional emails only (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails.
• We never sell your personal data.

Where it is stored

Account and listing data are stored with Supabase (our database provider). The website is served by Vercel. Both apply industry-standard security measures.

Your rights

You can edit or delete your listings at any time from your account. To delete your account and all associated data, or for any privacy question, email us at contact@discovermasbate.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
